Service Desk

The Service Desk is centrally located at Ramesys in Nottingham and offers the following features:

  • Single point of contact through a low-tariff 0845 number, web and email
  • Customised call management based on individual customer service levels
  • Direct access to highly trained engineers, skilled in providing rapid diagnosis and resolution to hardware and/or software queries
  • Guaranteed service levels to ensure issues are responded to and actioned within agreed limits
  • Support from Ramesys Business Partners – Ramesys works closely with its Business Partners so our product is always up to date
  • Extranet access for customers to the Service Desk problem management system.

Proactive Monitoring

Proactive monitoring means that we take care of many of the mundane, time consuming but essential administration and management tasks that are associated with IT systems.

Our easily configured, highly adaptable and scalable solution enables an organisation to automate specific IT processes so staff have more time to focus on core functions.

Features include:

  • Multi-platform support, including servers, applications, databases, networking services and network devices
  • Server and service-centric monitoring – monitoring the ‘entire’ service from the end-user’s perspective
  • Alert notification via email and/or SMS text messaging Realtime and historical reporting – to help spot trends, plan for future capacity and analyse trouble-spots
  • An efficient management interface with very small footprint, load and bandwidth requirements.

Hardware Maintenance

Our engineers are highly skilled and trained in the diagnosis and resolution of both hardware and software related issues, and use a dedicated workshop, loan equipment and spare parts. Features of the service include:

  • Guaranteed ‘return to service’ fix levels through the use of repair, loan or replacement of faulty hardware plus repair or restoration of operating system, applications and users’ data
  • In partnership with leading manufacturers, Ramesys service accreditation is able to honour equipment warranty
  • Extended equipment life cycle – Ramesys appreciates that old equipment can be utilized elsewhere in an organisation. In addition to providing a guaranteed business fix during the manufacturer’s warranty period, Ramesys will continue providing the same level of service during the hardware’s life cycle.

On-site Assistance

Ramesys can assist with an extensive range of design, implementation, support and maintenance activities. Our highly skilled and trained engineers can be provided on either a fulltime or part-time basis.


Training

We have dedicated, highly skilled training teams whose expertise has been gained from a diverse range of courses and learning collateral. Ramesys can assist in skill assessment and provide tailored training programmes at your premises, a Ramesys location or selected location. One-to one or group sessions are available.


Consultancy

You can rely on our extensive knowledge and experience in problem solving, impartial advice and assistance. Our aim is to ensure that the managed service is flexible enough to meet your needs as they change – and as technology advances.


Service Account Management

Service account management ensures that we are engaged during the initial stages of a project and able to monitor all aspects of the project and ongoing services. Liaison with customers is crucial and we provide regular reviews to ensure that Ramesys delivers in line with contractual agreements.
