Mike Green - Chairman
Mike has operated as Chairman, CEO or CFO in some 25 different businesses since successfully exiting a series of MBI’s in the early 90’s. He works with a variety of institutional investors and focuses on the development of equity backed businesses in the £20m to £200m range. Other specialist areas include financial management in £multi billion PLC’s and the implementation of large change / ERP programmes.
Operating at both a tactical and strategic level, Mike’s experience covers a wide range of manufacturing and service industries within the UK and global marketplace including the Co-Operative Group, BUPA, United Biscuits, LDV and Amcor. He is a qualified Cost and Management Accountant, a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute and a Member of the Institute of Directors.
Mark Chambers - Chief Executive
Mark has over 20 years' experience in ICT and has been involved in many different disciplines. He spent eight years at the FTSE 100 ICT company Misys as divisional operations director before taking up the position of divisional MD. Following a successful management buyout, Mark took the position of MD of the Redsky construction and professional services business where he was responsible for 360 ICT staff.
Mark led a number of mergers and acquisitions which eventually led to the successful sale of the business in January 2006. Mark Joined Ramesys as Chief Operating Officer immediately afterwards and became Chief Executive in October 2007.
Robin Birch – Chief Financial Officer
Robin joined as Chief Financial Officer of the Ramesys Group in April 2007.He brings a wealth of financial and general management experience to the rapidly expanding and leading ICT partner in the Building Schools for the Future and Academies programmes. Robin is a Chartered Accountant and has previously held senior roles in the Anisa Group, Alfred McAlpine, Logica ESIS, Redland and Wilson Bowden.
Mark Hoyland – Chief Operating Officer
Mark Hoyland joined Ramesys in 2006. He spent seventeen years with Royal Mail before he left to join CSC, a major IT services supplier, to work on the LandRover, BMW and MG accounts. He became UK Operations Director at CSC which led to a role as EMEA Operations Director. Immediately prior to joining Ramesys, Mark was UK Operations Director for Reuters.
Jonathan Walker - Commercial Director
Since joining the Education business in 2006, Jonathan has led the development of the Ramesys BSF strategy with responsibility for ensuring that Ramesys delivers its commitments to schools through a continued focus on partnership. From 2003, he was responsible for the growth of Ramesys Retail’s developing strategic relationships with retailers; including ASDA, Tesco and Sainsbury’s and their supply chain, to secure a UK market leading position which led to its sale.

Mark Antcliffe - Chief Technology Officer
Mark joined Ramesys after completing PhD research into the effectiveness of computer-based learning and has over 15 years' experience in education technology. Formerly Development Director for Ramesys, Mark led the development of the Ramesys Assimilate Learning Platform. He now drives the technology design across all elements of our solutions, leading innovation, meeting interoperability standards and evaluating educational effectiveness of product range.
Fay Heathcote - Human Resources Director
Fay joined Ramesys in September 2005, bringing 13 years of HR experience within local government, the IT sector and manufacturing industries. Fay began her career at Perot Systems, a US Global Outsourcing organisation specialising in resourcing and recruitment. Subsequently she continued her career as HR Business Partner and HR Manager.
Nicola Newman - Marketing and Communications Director
Nicola joined Ramesys in 2006 after 8 years at Becta, latterly as Communications Director. An Economics graduate, Nicola has also worked in retailing, recruitment and PR in the private sector, for the National Lotteries Charity Board and Shell Better Britain Campaign in the voluntary sector; and for Warwickshire County Council and the Community Development Foundation in the public sector.
Steve Smith - Learning Director
Steve joined the ICT industry as an Education Consultant in 1995, working with many schools bidding for Specialist School status. He served as Training Director and Business Development Director at Ramesys before taking on his current role of Director of Learning. Prior to that, Steve taught Chemistry and the Sciences before moving to a Deputy Headship in 1989.
Rob Wileman - Sales Director
Rob Wileman also has many years' experience in both ICT in education delivery and sales. When Ramesys was pioneering network installations in City Technology Colleges in the 90s, Rob was leading the Ramesys service delivery teams. Latterly Rob has focused on business development where he has gained great respect from Ramesys’ global supply chain partners and customers for his deep understanding of learners' needs, school requirements, government policy and product capabilities.
